United Methodist Women
Invite you to membership
Mission
The women of Church of the Good Shepherd are working to bridge the past with the present to create a stronger community of faith for people of all ages and to develop a supportive fellowship in the global ministries of the church.
Purpose
The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
Joining this group of committed women is a unique opportunity - no matter who you are or where in your life you are at this moment - to move in harmony with other women who have been responding to this purpose for over 100 years.

The 21st Annual Women’s Retreat
We officially "come of age" in 2010...so, mark your calendars now as next year’s retreat has been scheduled for October 22-24, 2010, at beautiful Aldersgate Retreat Center. Every year the Center gets nicer and nicer. We can’t wait to see the updates they make for next year. Our featured speaker this fall will be Suzanne Barron, family counselor. Watch the newsletter for updates as the weekend gets closer.
